Stop gray, go japanese

And it was survived. Friday shopping afternoon. Soho is a big monster and the UNIQLO store its metaphor. Walls of jeans. Walls of designed Ts. The set up is perfectly made to make you forget about the rest. That is Broadway all the way down to Canal Street. It is a planet itself like Prada. The rest are satellites, meteors or lost spaceships like the one that carries great Reebok’s for girls. Look for that basement. UNIQLO broke the standards for the big chains. Express, Zara, H&M, Armani don’t even bother to hide their sweatshop nature. No a single penny for then. Next time you pay me to get in.

What about designer stores? There is form and my budget is just to see form. But I am Marxist. A look to the price tag if it happens to be one. Here you ask. Here are some clothing sales. The fashion business. Still. How come Ari can sell shirts for $250? Both you and your shoppers are twisted. I am a good writer and you can read my stuff for free. Of course you spend money in fabric and all that stuff but have you ever heard about poverty, global warming, inequality? You are twisted Ari, if that is your name.

Applause for Steve Madden Shoes and its great reusable bag. Even with pockets inside.

How to make fashion for tropical set up minds? This is last year of George W. Bush and we all have some hope for a change. Lets start celebrating, put our body and soul in a new mood. One of happiness and joy. Stop that gray clothing. Now. No more gray please. I used to rip on brown, but chocolate is beauty. UNIQLO is ahead in that one too.
